“We would see Jesus.” John 12:21

Evermore the worldling’s cry is, “Who will show us any good?” He seeks satisfaction in earthly comforts, enjoyments, and riches. But the quickened sinner knows of only one good. “O that I knew where I might find Him !” When he is truly awakened to feel his guilt, if you could pour the gold of India at his feet, he would say, “Take it away: I want to find Him.” It is a blessed thing for a man, when he has brought his desires into a focus, so that they all centre in one object. When he has fifty different …

WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH JESUS?

John 10:22-30 22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, “How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.” 25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.[a] 27 My sheep hear …

Dispel any confusion that you may have about the Rapture and Christ’s Second Coming

Dispel any confusion that you may have about the Rapture and Christ’s Second Coming being or not being one and the same. We go up to be with Him at the rapture which is the moment of our resurrection. We return by His side after the time of Jacob’s Trouble (aka the Tribulation period/Daniel’s 70th week) when He comes back to set up His Millennial Kingdom. 2 Timothy 2:15 ~ STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED UNTO GOD, a tried-and-true laborer that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH. by Jeff Robb

The most EPIC 3 days in human history!

By Jeff Robb Jesus went…….. from death to LIFE; from Lamb to Lion; from buried to RISEN; from rejected to Glorified; from servant to Savior; from law to Grace; from prophecy to Fulfillment; from time back into Eternity; from flesh back into Deity; from sin-bearer to Supremacy; from the cross to the Throne; from king of the Jews to King of Kings; from crucified for our sins to Victor for all; from a perfect sacrifice to Our Everlasting Lord. That’s my take on things. And to think, some people don’t even recognize Him at all….Really??? Well, they soon will because …

Not to Worry . . . He’s Risen!

John 20:1–10 Now on the first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, while it was yet dark, unto the tomb, and seeth the stone taken away from the tomb. 2She runneth therefore, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we know not where they have laid him. 3Peter therefore went forth, and the other disciple, and they went toward the tomb. 4And they ran both together: and the other disciple outran Peter, and came first to the …

“The precious blood of Christ.”—1 Peter 1:19.

STANDING at the foot of the cross, we see hands, and feet, and side, all distilling crimson streams of precious blood. It is “precious” because of its redeeming and atoning efficacy. By it the sins of Christ’s people are atoned for; they are redeemed from under the law; they are reconciled to God, made one with Him. Christ’s blood is also “precious” in its cleansing power; it “cleanseth from all sin.” “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” Through Jesus’ blood there is not a spot left upon any believer, no wrinkle nor any …

The Resurrection: Our Assurance

When Jesus arose from the dead, He canceled our debt and declared victory over the power of sin.   1 Peter 1:18 – 1:19   18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:   Despite appearances, it had been no ordinary crucifixion. Passersby may have thought three men were simply paying the penalty for their crimes, but events of cosmic import were taking place: …

STILL The Greatest Story Ever Told – by Jack Kinsella

Good Friday is the day Christians commemorate the single most horrific event in human history — the day that mankind turned on and murdered his Creator. But that murderous event was NOT the event that brought about our redemption. Instead, it sealed our guilt. If Jesus Christ had remained in the grave, we would still be dead in our sins. “And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.” (1 Corinthians 15:17) The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ was intended to be the end of the story. At least, that is the way that …

Question: “How is the church the Body of Christ?”

Answer: The phrase “the Body of Christ” is a common New Testament metaphor for the Church (all those who are truly saved). The Church is called “one body in Christ” in Romans 12:5, “one body” in 1 Corinthians 10:17, “the body of Christ” in 1 Corinthians 12:27 and Ephesians 4:12, and “the body” in Hebrews 13:3. The Church is clearly equated with “the body” of Christ in Ephesians 5:23 and Colossians 1:24. When Christ entered our world, He took on a physical body “prepared” for Him (Hebrews 10:5; Philippians 2:7). Through His physical body, Jesus demonstrated the love of God …
