THE DELIVERANCE FOR GOD’S CHILDREN

by

ISAIAH 41:10 _______________________________________________ “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” THE DELIVERANCE FOR GOD’S CHILDREN October 15, 2018 Throughout Scripture we see many examples of God’s deliverance such as Noah and his family being removed from judgement through the ark, the children of Israel being taken out of Egypt, and Daniel being freed from the lion’s den. There is a general truth when it comes to the protection of His people. God has promised …

Event Horizon

by

A black hole’s mass is concentrated at a single point deep in its heart, and clearly cannot be seen. The “hole” that can, in principle, be seen (although no-one has ever actually seen a black hole directly) is the region of space around the singularity where gravity is so strong that nothing, not even light, the fastest thing in the universe, can escape, and where the time dilation becomes almost infinite. A black hole is therefore bounded by a well-defined surface or edge known as the “event horizon”, within which nothing can be seen and nothing can escape, because the …

40 – New Jerusalem, Mediator of New Covenant

by

The blessings that come to the New-Covenant people are more blessed since they are heavenly. This is the heavenly city. This is the city in Heaven that will be the place where we will live. This is the place of dwelling of all the redeemed. John the apostle recorded what Jesus spoke about this city in two places. First, where Jesus is now preparing a place. John 14:2–3 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare …

God’s Faithfulness and Provision – by Hal Lindsey

by

God’s Faithfulness and Provision – by Hal Lindsey We have now produced more than 700 editions of “The Hal Lindsey Report.” We have been on the air, worldwide, for almost 13 years. There is no doubt that God miraculously raised up “The Hal Lindsey Report” for these times. We launched “The Hal Lindsey Report” in February, 2006. At the end of 2005, through circumstances beyond my control, I found myself without a weekly television program for the first time in almost a decade. I had produced “The International Intelligence Briefing” at Trinity Broadcasting Network since the mid-’90s. But now, I …

Understanding Your Call

Understanding Your Call Mark 8:34-35 34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. I like to use the word believer when talking about God’s children, as it specifically refers to those who have trusted Jesus Christ as Savior. That is a much smaller population than those …

Just As I Am ~ Hymn Story

by

In 1828, at the age of 32, Charlotte Elliott suffered a serious illness that left her an invalid. This caused depression, and a severe spiritual crisis. A Swiss evangelist was visiting her family, and she told him that she didn’t know how to come to Christ. He told her, “Come to him just as you are.” Her depression continued, however. Twelve years later, she was still distressed by her uselessness as an invalid.  She decided she needed to meet her spiritual troubles head on and conquer them by the grace of God.  She wrote down her own formula of faith,  …

A Lot of Grace

A Lot of Grace Job 17 Job Continues to Defend His Innocence 17 “My spirit is crushed, and my life is nearly snuffed out. The grave is ready to receive me. 2 I am surrounded by mockers. I watch how bitterly they taunt me. 3 “You must defend my innocence, O God, since no one else will stand up for me. 4 You have closed their minds to understanding, but do not let them triumph. 5 They betray their friends for their own advantage, so let their children faint with hunger. 6 “God has made a mockery of me among …

Godly sorrow worketh repentance.” 2 Corinthians 7:10

by

Godly sorrow worketh repentance.” 2 Corinthians 7:10 Genuine, spiritual mourning for sin is the work of the Spirit of God. Repentance is too choice a flower to grow in nature’s garden. Pearls grow naturally in oysters, but penitence never shows itself in sinners except divine grace works it in them. If thou hast one particle of real hatred for sin, God must have given it thee, for human nature’s thorns never produced a single fig. “That which is born of the flesh is flesh.” True repentance has a distinct reference to the Saviour. When we repent of sin, we must …

Simple Kind Of Man

Dr. Mike Murphy “It made me greatly ashamed of the vileness of my former life, and confounded me with the sense of mine own ignorance; for there never came thought into mine heart before now that showed me so the beauty of Jesus Christ.  It made me love a holy life, and long to do something for the honour and glory of the name of the Lord Jesus.  Yea, I thought that had I now a thousand gallons of blood in my body, I could spill it all for the sake of the Lord Jesus.“ Who do you think wrote …

The Coalition Invasion of Israel

by

The Bible is not explicit regarding the precise dates upon which most future end time events will occur. It does however give the observant student of the Scriptures a sequential chronology of those events. Christ for example, wanted His followers to know certain aspects of the end time events so they would not be caught unaware of them if they unfolded during their lifetime. He did not tell exactly when they would take place. In fact he clearly stated that the exact date would not be known (Matt 24:36). Christ clearly explained the events leading up to the great final …
