35 The Kings Funeral Dirge

The Lord tells Ezekiel that he is to lift up or carry a funeral song (Hebrew keennah) for the princes of Israel. From chapter two verse ten the scroll the Lord made Ezekiel eat contained “written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.” Therefore this chapter may be viewed as a conclusion to entire first part of the book.
