What is the rapture and when will it occur?

“Rapture” is a term used by Christians to explain an event described by the Apostle Paul who wrote: “But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who …

“Whereas the Lord was there.” Ezekiel 35:10

Edom’s princes saw the whole country left desolate, and counted upon its easy conquest; but there was one great difficulty in their way–quite unknown to them–“The Lord was there;” and in his presence lay the special security of the chosen land. Whatever may be the machinations and devices of the enemies of God’s people, there is still the same effectual barrier to thwart their design. The saints are God’s heritage, and he is in the midst of them, and will protect his own. What comfort this assurance yields us in our troubles and spiritual conflicts! The Only Way to God

Reflections I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except by Me. (John 14:6) Jesus did not say, “I am A way, A truth, and A life.” This is proven by His next words: “No one comes to the Father except by Me.” He could not have been more clear. 1 Jewish Persecution

Because of recent events in the Mid-East I am posting this short six part series of the Allied Invasion by The Russians, The Muslim Nations, and The Germans. It comes from Ezekiel 38 & 39 and very near to us today. This series begins with a short exposition of the Covenant God gave to Abraham.

Abraham was a Gentile when God gave him a covenant .
It first occurs in Genesis Chapter 12, and includes
seven ‘I Wills’:

1. I will make of thee a great nation,
2. I will bless thee,
3. I will make thy name great;
4. Thou shalt be a blessing:
5. I will bless them that bless thee,
6. I will curse him that curseth thee:
7. In thee shall all families of the
earth be blessed. Genesis 12:2-3

It is to this sixth promise that we begin our study
of Ezekiel 38 and 39.
